  • Sound Magic: Gong Immersion with Crystal Bowls - John Yost - Rhythm Revolution. 

Allow yourself to decompress and deeply relax, while you enjoy the healing sounds of gongs, crystal bowls, and other instruments.  Sound journey meditations are considered deeply healing and restorative.  They have been proven to lower blood pressure, release stress and heal us on the molecular level. Physical sound vibrations entrain the brain to move from beta to alpha-theta states. Participation is effortless as the vibrational frequencies of the gongs, bowls, and chimes bring about a blissful state. It is recommended participants bring a yoga mat, pillow and blanket for their comfort.

The Sacred Path of the Labyrinth - Dan Raven

Experience the 1,000-year-old practice of walking the labyrinth. Dan has built and walked labyrinths all over the world and is passionate about sharing his knowledge. (All day)

MKD Elders

Learn teachings from the elders of the Miniss Kitigan Drum (MKD) Band of the Ojibwa who are dedicated to preserving the customs and beliefs, shared by Kee, of the Great Lakes Ojibwa.

 

Women, Water & Wisdom - Kathleen Brigidina 

Kathleen, a council member of “Loving Waters” and artist partner liaison of “Tree Sisters International” will demonstrate and guide us to create a Listening Mandala using Earth Pigments, sacred Fire Coals, and Holy Waters from around the world.

 

Mitakúye Oyasin and the 4 Parts of the Soul - Quentin Young.  Author, 30-yr. sacred pipe keeper, 21-yr. Sun Dancer, spiritual teacher; lineage is Sicangu Lakota. Quentin conducts Lakota ceremonies, has taught classes on Lakota traditions and published his 2nd edition of "Mystic Visions: Black Elk's Great Vision Clarified" in 2017.

 

Using Ancient Wisdom in Today's World - Ray Piagentini

Ray will have you experience what he has learned over 22 years taking 1000+ Barrington H.S. students to the Crow Creek Lakota Reservation in South Dakota.

A Grandmothers Love - Tony Hollenback

In Native and Indigenous cultures, Grandmothers are revered for their healing, intuitive wisdom and ability to teach us to remain in balance with the world, Spirit, and our Earth Mother.  Join Tony, Shamanic Practitioner and Social Worker for a session of Storytelling, wisdom, and love from his work and experiences with the grandmothers and share in the circle.

Keepers of the Sacred Fire - Bruce & Pat Hardwick, Duane Kinnart, and Van Archiquette

Experience a traditional talking circle with this 900-year-old Potawatomi Fire. This Fire has been carried and used around the world by these Firekeepers for the last 24 years.

Indigenous Guidance for Today’s World -  Rev. C. J. Wright (Awahili Gawoni)

Learn about indigenous wisdom teachings from Wright's Cherokee tradition and from many elders, including friend Momfeather Erickson, with whom she co-taught and had the privilege of being with during her passing.

Trained by Angeles Arrien, Rhonda shares her  4-directional archetypes composed of cross-cultural indigenous teachings from the old traditions. Rhonda ran Blue Feather in La Grange for 25+ years.
